Data Collection of Newcomers Tightened

North Jakarta Population and Civil Registration Sub-Department will tighten monitoring in the data collection of newcomers in North Jakarta. It is as a follow-up of Jakarta Governor Instruction No.116/2015.

  The exact total number of newcomers is not yet received so far

“It is also running the Jakarta Vice Governor's instruction in the activity of city spatial and urbanization control,” said Section Head of Controlling and Population Cooperation for North Jakarta Population and Civil Registration Sub-Department, Yudi Hermawan, Wednesday (7/29).

Binduk Operation Targets Kalibaru and Sukapura Urban Village

Furthermore, the data collection of newcomers itself has been done since Tuesday (7/28) until August (8/3). Urban village and sub-district parties were also instructed to appeal the neighborhood units (RT) and community units (RW) to collect data of newcomers in each area.

“But the exact total number of newcomers is not yet received so far. Nevertheless, we remain try hard to monitor and always coordinate with urban village and sub-district parties,” he stressed.

His party would also carry out the Population Control Operation (Binduk) in newcomer-prone areas such as dorm and factory.

“After data collection is done, the newcomer-prone area will be researched and continued with Binduk operation,” he asserted.
