Kampung Pulo Residents Appealed to Take Flat's Key

Kampung Pulo Residents living in RW 01, 02, 03, Kampung Melayu Urban Village, Jatinegara, appealed to take their flat's key based on raffling phase conducted before. 

There is still time until tomorrow, we hope they to immediately take the keys. As, the demolishment will surely be done on Thursday

East Jakarta Mayor, Bambang Musyawardhana stated, not all residents have taken the keys and left their house, whereas the demolishment towards 527 lands that impacted of Ciliwung River normalization will be slated on this Thursday (8/20).

He asserted, the demolishment must be done. Because the river normalization should be completed before rainy season. 

"Mr. Governor instructed us to vacate the land. We also held a meeting and would do it on Thursday (8/20)," he expressed, Tuesday (8/18). 

According to him, until now, there have been 213 Kampung Pulo households take the keys. From that number, 78 of them have been occupying the flat permanently. As for other 135, have put in their stuffs and in the process of moving in. 

"There is still time until tomorrow, we hope they to immediately take the keys. As, the demolishment will surely be done on Thursday, and officers will help the residents to move in," he closed.
