Flat Maintenance Cost Covered by City Gov

The relocated residents of Kampung Pulo do not need to pay maintenance charge of Jatinegara Flat, as it will be covered by the City Administration. They will only be charged by Rp 10,000 per day for retribution. 

We subsidize them up to 80 percent for maintenance charge

Jakarta Governor Basuki 'Ahok' T Purnama said the flat as wide as 30 m that was built with budget amounted to Rp 200 million was prepared for Kampung Pulo residents for free. But they cannot sell the unit. 

"We subsidize them up to 80 percent for maintenance charge," he stated, during meeting with Ciliwung Merdeka Community and representatives of Kampung Pulo resident, at City Hall on August 4 ago. And the meeting record had been uploaded on Youtube. 

City will Build Flat in Kampung Pulo

The meeting was attended by Habib Soleh, some of Ciliwung Merdeka representatives, local RT and RW heads, Jatinegara Sub-District Head, Kampung Melayu Urban Village Head, and Head of Jakarta Housing and Government's Building Department, Ika Lestari Adji. 

If there is damage in the flat, residents do not need to expend any charge. Eventually, there will be staffs checking facilities of the flat periodically. 

"We will bear all the reparation charge,"

Even, for those elderly who cannot pay the retribution, we offer them to stay in social house and their living needs are also be covered. 

"We will built a villa equipped with lake in Ciangir. All necessities will be covered, the food allowance is amounted to Rp 28,000 per day," finished Ahok.
