Beach Reclamation is Safe for Environment

Not only that, he also intends to involve Rotterdam Government in reclamation project. "There will be three islands, like O, P, and Q where about 100 hectares besides Marunda and Tanjung Priok," he told.

Those three islands would become a logistic center in Jakarta and its surrounding areas such as Banten, West Java, and Central Java.

"Talk about port, we actually need fund aid from other countries and its experience. That's why I involve Rotterdam," he uttered.

Ahok added, the port development and reclamation will support sea toll project projected by President, Joko 'Jokowi' Widodo. "The key lies in KBN Marunda and Marunda Center in Bekasi," he uttered.

Previously, Rotterdam Mayor had visited to City Hall in reign of Fauzi Bowo. As planned, Ahok would visit to Rotterdam on September 19.
