Cut Fund, Pilkada Sozialization Conducted Via Smart City

The Jakarta Election Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu) proposed grant fund amounted to Rp 98 billion for the upcoming 2017 Regional Election (pilkada). To minimize fund, the election socialization was suggested through smart city application that is being developed by the city administration.

That’s why, I offered Bawaslu to use the smart city, like Qlue application to cut the fund

“It should be analized first. That’s why, I offered Bawaslu to use the smart city, like Qlue application to cut the fund,” said Jakarta Governor, Basuki “Ahok” T Purnama, Monday (8/31).

16 Polling Stations in Five Municipalities to Hold Re-voting

According to Ahok, there are 267 urban villages spread in five municipalities and one regency. By using such application, the Bawaslu will receive a notification from public report.

“Everyone, just report aspiration via Qlue. You can also send the picture, etc,” he told.

Meanwhile, Head of Jakarta Election Supervisory Agency, Mimah Susanti uttered the biggest fund post is for supervisor salary. As planned, there will be 12,000 people recruited as supervisor at the polling stations (TPS).

“We’ve proposed Rp 98 billion. But we still have no idea, wether it is approved or not. Mostly it is for supervisor salary,” she closed.
