According to the plan, Ahok will leave on Saturday (9/19) and back on Wednesday (9/23) next week. "I'll go to Rotterdam this Saturday (9/19) and get back home on Thursday (9/24)," he said at City Hall, Wednesday (9/16).

Flood Anticipation, City Learned from Rotterdam

During his visit, Jakarta will be led by his partner, Mr. Djarot Saiful Hidajat.

Yet Mr. Djarot is still attending the Olympic Council of Assembly Meeting in Asghabat, Turkmenistan. "Don't worry, he would arrive in Jakarta when I was in Rotterdam," he stressed.

Earlier, Rotterdam Mayor, Ahmed Aboutaleb had visited Jakarta twice. First, the visit was welcomed by Joko 'Jokowi' Widodo when he served as Jakarta Governor and second was welcomed by himself.

He admitted that Jakarta could ask the Rotterdam Administration to share experience, especially in terms of flood mitigation and island reclamation. Its way can be imitated from the latest technology from Rotterdam.
