Jakarta Governor, Basuki T. Purnama, admitted the budget realization up to today is low. One of the matters is the late submitting of auction documents from the regional working unit (SKPD) to auction board (BPPBJ).

Meanwhile, unrealized land buying also disturbs the budget realization. Previously, the budget should be maximized for buying land.

"The budget realization is low. They unable to buy the land," he said.

According to him, the budget to buy the land has been prepared Rp 2.4 trillion, but only spent Rp 200 billion. "It's funny. If this matter repeats next year, I'll demote you," he uttered.

Heru Budi Hartono, Jakarta Head Financial Management and Regional Asset Board (BPKAD), stated today's realization is Rp 18.5 trillion out of total Rp 69.28 trillion. It consists of servant's expenditure 44.7 percent, goods and service expenditure 27.48 percent, and capital expenditure 7.3 percent. The number is higher compared to same period last year by Rp 17.7 trillion.

He optimistic the target up to 70 percent could be reached of the budget amendment is agreed by the Home Ministry before October 10. "I'm sure of it," he stated.

There are still 2.5 months to go, if the amendment is agreed before October 10, to pursue the target.
