Puddle in East Jakarta Predicted Reducing Up to 60 Percent

East Jakarta Sub-dept. of Water Management keeps improving the area to tackle flood. Normalization for water channel, river, and reservoir continues to be held. It is predicted that the puddle could be minimized up to 60 percent.

Based on the agency's data, there are 97 puddle points along rainy season early this year. After holding normalization, the potency now remains 40 percent.

Mukhid, Head Section of Water Resource Maintenance for East Jakarta Sub-dept. of Water Management, admitted that his side had normalized 43 channels since the early year. Other efforts were dredging the river and reservoir.
