Absent 7 Months, Seribu Islands PNS Threatened to Be Fired

Seribu Islands Regency Administration keeps conducting performance evaluation towards the whole ranks. Lately, there are 2 employees of regency secretariat who are absent for about 7 months.

We have sent the 3rd letter, if it's ignored again, we will send a letter to governor so that they will be demoted

"Spoken and written summoning has been conducted twice but it's ignored. We have sent the 3rd letter, if it's ignored again, we will send a letter to governor so that they will be demoted," said Seribu Islands Regency Secretary, Ismer Harahap, Friday (10/30).

He told, in accordance to Government Regulation No.53/2010 on Discipline of Civil Servants regulates that the discipline of Civil Servants is ability of civil servants for obeying obligation and avoiding prohibition determined on rules of laws or department that if they are not obeyed or violated will be charged with discipline punishment.

"So, one civil servant’s letters has been sent to governor and we have investigated him in detail before, as for the other one is still being summoned for the 3rd time. If he/she still does not attend, we will make dismissal letter again to governor," he asserted.
