The tourism sector in potential islands keeps being advanced in Seribu Islands. One of the strategies is by giving certificate for visitors, especially Jakartans who visit to Sebira Island.

Section Head for Administration for Seribu Island Tourism and Culture Sub-Dept, Neneng Rohaeni uttered such certificate issuance is the first time conducted by Regent of Seribu Islands, Budi Utomo.
“We’ll give this certificate for Jakartans who visit Sebira Island, considering this island is the outermost regions of Jakarta, particularly Seribu Islands,” he said, Saturday (11/21).
Sebira Island, which is located in Harapan Island Urban Village, Seribu Utara Islands Sub-District has beautiful sea scenery and interesting cultural dance. However, there is a historical lighthouse which was built in 1869 by VOC.
“Children talent here in term of dance is pretty good here, we want to guide and train them thus it could be packaged as tourism package. And its typical regional food can also be developed by UKM,” she expressed.
As known, every tourist who comes to the island especially coming to Northern Watch Tower will fill out the guest list, and form as tourist with a clear identity address. Later on, the certificate will be sent to the address.
