Realization of PKL's Autodebet in East Jakarta Reached 100 Percent

Realization of autodebit retribution for street vendors via Bank DKI in East Jakarta until early December had reached 100 percent.

The rest are in arrears but at the end they pay it as well. It's our job to guide them

Head of East Jakarta Micro Small and Medium Enterprises Cooperative (KUMKMP) Sub-Department, Arfian stated that of 1,731 street vendors, 238 of them pay it normally.

"The rest are in arrears but at the end they pay it as well. It's our job to guide them," he stated, Monday (12/14).

2,000 PKL Have Auto Debit Cards

He told those vendors in arrears are because of their fluctuating income every month.

"While every month they're debited by Rp 97,000. Rp 90,000 for retribution, and Rp 7,000 for administration. We from government side should keep encouraging them, because after being guided, they will forget," he told.

Furthermore, there are 4,917 vendors in other locations who are the suggestion from head yet have not paid the retribution yet.

"It needs to be re-verified so that it'll potential place then autodebited. Of 4.917 vendors, 1,091 of them have opened bank account but haven't been autodebited by Bank DKI," he closed.
