Provincial Government (Pemprov) of DKI Jakarta was asked to optimized Bahtera Jaya Ancol Pier as transportation ship's dock from Seribu Islands regent to capital and otherwise.

"Bahtera Jaya Ancol's condition now is being neglected. it will be wasteful if not optimized," said Sarifudin, Commission B Member of Jakarta City Council, Sunday (1/15).
He added it is now used as dockage for most of barge under Pelindo.
City Got Authority to Manage Muara Angke PierSarifudin added that council will suggest Bahtera Jaya Ancol Pier to be functioned as transportation ship's dock so it could be functioned well.
"Transportation ship which during this time docked in Muara Angke Pier should be relocated in Bahtera Jaya so in the future sea transportation access will be easier," he added.
His side also reminded repeatedly to related institutions to improve sea transportation from Jakarta to Seribu Islands.
"Transportation ship from Seribu Islands to capital must be treated well for the sake of safety for tourist and citizen," he closed.
