2,919 Vehicles in W. Jakarta Netted During Orderly Sidewalk

The ranks of West Jakarta Transportation Sub-dept. has controlled 2,919 two and four-wheeled vehicles during orderly sidewalk held on August 1-22, 2017.

Socialization is aimed to make the vehicle owners to comply with the prevailing rules 

West Jakarta Transportation Sub-dept. Head, A Banjarnahor said, motor vehicles controlled consist of 421 public and goods transport vehicles are made in a ticket dossier (BAP) by Transportation Dept. and 210 other motorcycles and cars are made in a case dossier by the police, as well as 85 motorcycles are ticketed.

There are also 1,066 motorcycles, 871 cars and 11 three-wheeled vehicles are ticketed and flattened due to illegal parking.

"Totally we have controlled 2,919 vehicles due to illegal parking on the sidewalk and the roadside," he stated, Wednesday (8/23).

His side also intensifies to socialize Gubernatorial Instruction No. 99/2017 about Months of Orderly Sidewalk to the vehicle owner.

"Socialization is aimed to make the vehicle owners to comply with the prevailing rules thus people feel safe and comfortable passing over the pedestrian," he said.
