Inscription Museum Visitors Creeping Up

The number of visitors in Inscription Museum, Jalan Tanah Abang I, Petojo Selatan Urban Village, Gambir, Central Jakarta along January to October 2017, has reached 8,578 people. It has increased 966 visitors compared to the same period last year.

Inscription Museum Service Unit Head, Andri Laksana expressed, along January-October 2016, the number of tourists is reaching 7,612 people.

Wayang Museum Visitors Increases

"The museum has a fascination of artistic works from colonialism with the architecture of Doria (Ancient Greece)," he stated, Tuesday (11/7).

He explained, adult class ticket price is set at Rp 5,000, college student Rp 3,000, and student Rp 2,000.

"Especially for group of at least 30 people will be cheaper, with details adult ticket price is Rp 3,750, college student Rp 2,250 and student Rp 1,500," he told.

To attract more visitors, he added, his side opens a museum exploration activity that aims to introduce museum collections.

"The total number of collections in the museum reaches 862. There is also a special collection, namely ancient gravestones and antique hearse," he uttered.
