Campaign Props Removal Operation Focused in Settlements

As many as 11,000 campaign props illustrating president and vice president candidates in South Jakarta were lowered by local Satpol PP since these two days. Those props were installed on some main roads in the municipality. Approaching the election day tomorrow, Wednesday (7/9), the operation will be focused in settlements.

“Today, we’re focused (to lower campaign props) in settlements,” stated Head of South Jakarta Satpol PP, Sulistiarto, Tuesday (7/8).

According to Sulistiarto, the installation of campaign props in settlements is more rampant than on protocol roads. It aims to get the votes from the residents.

Entering Restful Week, Basuki Regrets Campaign Props Still Rampant

“Therefore, we will search and lower campaign props, especially those installed near polling stations (TPS) since they are highly influencing, particularly for those who have not made decision to vote which candidate,” he uttered.

To lower campaign props installed in 10 sub-districts in South Jakarta, as many as 300 Satpol PP personnel are deployed.
