September 10, Deadline for PT JM to Fulfill All Requirements

PT Jakarta Monorail (JM) is optimistic could finish three out of six documents required to continue the construction of monorail. The three documents are financial closing, technical review, and legal aspects.

Out of six documents, we could finish three of them before September 10, 2014, in accordance to the deadline set by Jakarta Provincial Government

“Out of six documents, we could finish three of them before September 10, 2014, in accordance to the deadline set by Jakarta Provincial Government,” stated PT JM President Director, John Aryananda, Wednesday (8/20).

According to Aryananda, Jakarta Provincial Government asked those three documents to be re-reviewed since there are obscurities on funding, technical review, and legal aspects.

“So, we need to re-clarify those documents and handed out the clarifications as soon as possible before September 10,” he told.

Unfortunately, Aryananda is reluctant to tell about the changes to be done to the three documents, especially the one about the funding. He would tell it to the media after those documents approved.

Meanwhile, the remaining documents are about environmental impact analysis (Amdal) renewal and review on traffic during monorail construction. These documents have been finished and approved.

After PT JM fulfill all six requirements, the company will sign a cooperation agreement (PKS) with Jakarta Provincial Government.

“Yes, we hope, the PKS signing could be done as soon as possible so we could continue on preparing the physical construction,” he uttered.
