Thousand Islands Discusses the Acceleration of Floating SPBU Development

The Thousand Islands District administration holds a meeting about the acceleration of the floating Public Gas Station (SPBU) development in its region.

Hopefully it runs well and fishermen can enjoy subsidized fuel

During the meeting, several things have been prepared to accelerate the process of developing the SPBU. Among them are place, distribution pattern, data of subsidized fuel recipient fishermen, operating system and field survey.

"Everything is ongoing. And now is only how to accelerate the licensing and set the coordinates of the logistical vessels for BBM," he expressed, Tuesday (12/3).

Legislator Collects Aspirations of Thousand Islands Residents

By the end of this month, it is hoped that all administration, facilities and infrastructures could be complete for the acceleration of operation.

"Hopefully it runs well and fishermen can enjoy subsidized fuel," he hoped.

On the other hand, Thousand Islands Economic and Development Assistant Iwan P Samosir added the coordinates of the vessel's stop point need to be set in order not to damage coral reefs and the ecosystem in the waters of Karya island.
