Thousand Islands Maritime, Agriculture and Food Security (KPKP) Sub-agency Head, Devi Riana Sumanthi ensures food commodities are safe for Thousand Islands residents throughout Ramadan Month.
Food stock is still safe because JakGrosir always maintain the supplies every week
She ensured it safe after monitoring staple food stocks in inhabitant islands, especially at Tidung Island JakGrosir, South Thousand Islands as the center of food commodities for the merchants.

JakGrosir, her side found 10 tons of staple food commodities such as instant noodles, cooking oil, and others, including two tons of rice and four tons of chicken.Strategic Food Commodities Ensured to Be Safe Until Eid"Food stock is still safe because JakGrosir always maintain the supplies every week," she mentioned, Thursday (5/7).
For residents outside of Tidung Island and its surrounding such as in the North Thousand Islands area, her side also provides JakGrosir in each urban villages to serve the merchants during COVID-19 pandemic.
"It really helps merchants to stock their grocery stores thus food price stability in inhabitant islands can be maintained," she explained.
During PSBB implementation in Jakarta, she continued, cheap food supplies from Jakarta Government that usually given once a month for 5,400 Thousand Islands residents who have KJP, elderly cards, or PJLP should be stopped temporarily until the condition return to normal.
"There are still many assistance in stock, besides, we want to avoid crowd. After the condition return to normal, we will continue the cheap food program in Thousand Islands," she closed.
