According to East Jakarta Indonesian Civil Servants Corp Secretary, Waluyo, the 8 cows and 29 goats are donations from civil servants as well as local Social, Sports, Secondary Education, and Building Control sub-departments. The slaughtering itself is done at Dharma Jaya Animal Slaughterhouse (RPH) in Cakung, East Jakarta.

“We distribute 500 bags of meat,” he stated.

Unfortunately the meat distribution had hampered because some people were found not bringing the coupons.

“The problem is that some people do not have coupons, thus they had to wait longer than other people who have coupons,” he said.

For information, the number of sacrificial animals slaughtered this year is decreasing compared to last year where 12 cows and 48 goats were collected.
