Here is the Latest Information Regarding COVID-19 Cases in Jakarta on July 10, 2020

Jakarta Government through Task Force for Acceleration of COVID-19 Handling conveyed the latest information regarding COVID-19 cases in Jakarta on Tuesday, July 10, 2020.

From that number, 8,825 people have recovered

Jakarta Health Agency's Health Resources Division Head, Ani Ruspitawati mentioned, there were additional 260 positive cases. Thus, in total it reaches 13,598 positive cases of COVID-19 in Jakarta. From that number, 8,825 people have recovered and 684 people died.

"As of today, 476 patients are still undergoing treatment at hospitals and 3,613 people carry out self-isolation at home. While it reaches 330 people in monitoring (ODP) and 818 patients under supervision (PDP)," she said as quoted from Jakarta PPID Press Release.

Jakarta Provincial Government had also increased capacity for examination using RT-PCR method by building COVID-19 Satellite Laboratory which located in RSUD Pasar Minggu and RSKD Duren Sawit since April 9, 2020 and building network with 45 COVID-19 laboratories.

Cumulatively, as of July 9, her side has collected 374,320 samples through PCR test. On July 9, PCR test has been carried out for 5,270 people. As many as 4,480  tests were taken to diagnose the new case, with total 236 positive and 4,244 negative results.

Total 262,742 people have undergone rapid tests, with 3.5 percent positive of COVID-19, where 9,149 people have reactive and 253,593 people have non-reactive results. Those with positive results were referred to take PCR swab test. If the result is positive, they will be referred to be treated in Wisma Atlet, hospitals or carried out self-isolation at home.

Jakarta Government and SKPD integrated team also continue to monitor health protocols compliance in various places such as malls, tourist attractions, markets, SIKM checkpoints. In tightening health protocols in markets, Jakarta Government deploys 5,000 civil apparatuses (ASN)s to monitor health protocols implementation and control the number of people entering the market thus it doesn't exceed 50% of the capacity.

Meanwhile, fines and social sanctions will be imposed on PSBB violators in form of sweeping the sidewalks, roadsides, or market areas while wearing special vest. City will also close down business places that are not allowed to operate during the transition period of PSBB.

For information, SIKM is still required to enter or leave Jakarta during the extension transition period of PSBB Phase 1. Thus, her side encourages people who work in 11 sectors which permitted to operate in PSBB and want to travel to or from Jakarta to obtain SIKM from site corona.jakarta.go.id/id/izin-keluar-masuk-jakarta.

"We urge Jakarta residents to always pay attention to health protocols by wearing mask, often washing hands with soap and running water or using hand sanitizer, maintaining physical distance minimum 1.5-2 meters, and limit activities outside home if it is not too important," she said.

Jakarta Provincial Government is still opening opportunity for residents who want to provide assistance to the others who affected by COVID-19 through Large-scale Social Collaboration (KSBB) Program.
