Regency Forms Household Cadres to Prevent COVID-19 Transmission

Thousand Islands Regency formed household cadres to prevent COVID-19 transmission in the region. This program has been socialized to urban village heads, sub-district heads, and regional administrators via online from Regency Office, Pramuka Island, North Thousand Islands.

Household cadres will reprimand directly their family members who don't comply with health protocols

Thousand Islands Vice Regent, Junaedi conveyed, through household cadres, now health protocols monitoring can be done by family members.

"Household cadres will reprimand directly their family members who don't comply with health protocols," he stated, on Tuesday (7/21).

According to him, each family required to choose the family representative or cadre which it could be child or head of the family. Those cadres will report the activity results to the local administrators.

"We hope it can bring back Thousand Islands into green zone again," he asserted.

For information, there are currently 35 confirmed cases of COVID-19 (people with positive and reactive results); where 3 of them are in self-isolation process, 26 people have recovered, 1 person died, and 5 people are still undergoing treatment at Wisma Atlet.

"Hopefully those who undergo self-isolation or treatment will recover soon and return to their families," he closed.
