2,470 Tourists Visited Thousand Islands on the Last Weekend

Thousand Islands was visited by 2,470 tourists on the last weekend, on November 21-22.

They visited residential islands and resort islands

Thousand Islands Tourism and Creative Economy (Parekraf) Sub-agency Head, Puji Astuti conveyed, there were 1,574 tourists visited Thousand Islands on Saturday (11/21) and 896 tourists on Sunday (11/22).

"They visited residential islands and resort islands," she added, Monday (11/23).

She explained that during Transitional Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB), health protocols should be implemented by the entire tourism sectors in Thousand Islands to prevent COVID-19 transmission.

"Together with related OPDs and institutions, we continue to monitor health protocols implementation, such as preventing crowds, ensuring people to wear mask, providing hand washing facilities, and checking tourists' body temperature at pier," she stated.
