Acting Jakarta Governor Basuki Tjahaja Purnama admitted that the city is still lacking of dump trucks until now. To resolve the problem, Jakarta Provincial Government prefers to buy new dump trucks than repair the damaged ones.
Jakarta always buys new (dump trucks), not using the old ones anymore
“Jakarta always buys new (dump trucks), not using the old ones anymore. If I repaired it (old damaged dump trucks), I would be lied again, makes me headache,” said Basuki after meeting Bekasi Mayor, Rahmat Effendi, at City Hall, Tuesday (10/28).
According to Basuki, Jakarta Provincial Government is also going to grant the old dump trucks to Bekasi Administration. Moreover, Bekasi Administration has willing to repair those dump trucks. However, the grant process must go through the Jakarta Financial Management Board (BPKD), so the assets transfer process would not meet problem.
