Pangeran Jayakarta Cemetery Arrangement Constrained

The arrangement of Pangeran Jayakarta Cemetery, which has been attempted for nearly four years, still meets obstacles. One of those obstacles is the residents who ask for land compensation exceeding the Tax Object Sales Value (NJOP).

We offer land compensation in accordance to NJOP price around Rp 4 million per meter, but the residents ask for Rp 12 million per meter

“We offer land compensation in accordance to NJOP price around Rp 4 million per meter, but the residents ask for Rp 12 million per meter,” informed Head of East Jakarta Culture Sub-Department, Husnizon Nizar, Tuesday, (10/28).

According to Nizar, this year his department allocated Rp 9 billion to free land as wide as 1,500 square meters. But, the land that can be acquisitioned and paid in accordance to NJOP is only as wide as 450 square meters worth Rp 2.7 billion. Meanwhile, the rest Rp 6.3 billion will be returned to the regional treasury.
