MRT Jakarta-BSSN RI Builds Cooperation for Security of Information and Electronic Transactions

PT. Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) Jakarta (Perseroda) has agreed to cooperate with National Cyber and Crypto Agency of Republic of Indonesia (BSSN RI) to improve security of information and electronic transactions.

Collaboration between MRT Jakarta and BSSN is a form of synergy and collaboration in creating cybersecurity

Cooperation between the two parties has been agreed upon the signing of Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between PT. MRT Jakarta President Director, William P. Sabandar and BSSN RI Head, Hinsa Saburian.

William said, the scope of cooperation in MoU included the use of electronic certificates to improve security and validity of electronic transactions, security of information and communication technology system, enhance and develop human resources owned by both parties.

"This cooperation also includes the exchange of non-confidential information between parties at MRT Jakarta regarding matters needed related to implementation within scope as referred to in this article while maintaining subject to laws and regulations, as well as provisions," he conveyed.

This cooperation, he added, is also a form of manifestation of work effectiveness and an integrated, directed, and sustainable work pattern in securing electronic transactions which are in line with Indonesia Government's goal in creating an electronic-based government system.

"Collaboration between MRT Jakarta and BSSN is a form of synergy and collaboration in creating cybersecurity. We continue to provide optimal service and guarantee a sense of security for all technological processes running at PT. MRT Jakarta (Perseroda)," he stated.
