The Seribu Islands Regency received an award at the Mandalika Experience Expo 2022 event in Central Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara as the best exhibition stand from the Jakarta Province.

Seribu Islands Tourism and Creative Economy Sub-agency Head Puji Astuti stated the award was presented by the organizers for the participation and the best stand during the world-class motorcycle racing event which was held on March 18-20.

"Grateful to be able to successfully win an award as the best stand, especially since this is an international exhibition," she expressed, Tuesday (3/22).

In the exhibition stand, the sub-agency displayed the natural nuances of the Seribu Islands as a unique water area with its water tourism, in the form of jet skis and sea nuances, as well as the background of the boat's bridge and pinishi boat.

"Many spectators of the MotoGP event stop by just to take selfies or ask questions about tourism in Seribu Islands. I hope this exhibition has a positive impact and brings in investment and tourists to Seribu Islands as expected," she hoped.

At the location, her party featured promotions for tour packages, souvenirs, launching the Pulo 1000 application, and visitors were asked to fill out a visitor satisfaction survey with a QR scan, and souvenirs were given to those who had filled out the survey.

"Hope the event like this can become an annual agenda thus there are more opportunities to promote tourism in Jakarta, especially Seribu Islands," he hoped.
