Muara Angke Pier Packed with Thousand Islands Visitors

On the third day of Eid, hundreds of people packed the Muara Angke Pier, Penjaringan, North Jakarta, for a vacation to the Thousand Islands tourist destination.

Most of them were families, groups of travelers, and solo travelers. Muara Angke Pier was not only crowded with people waiting for the ship to depart but also with passengers who had just gotten off the ship.
Herman (58), a resident of Tebet, South Jakarta who just got off from KM Dolphin admitted that he had just spent his vacation on Pari Island with 10 members of his family.
People Visit Tebet Eco Park to Enjoy Eid Holiday with Family"We departed yesterday morning and stayed for a day on Pari Island. We take our children and grandchildren to the island thus they can experience boat rides. The island is also nice and clean," he conveyed, Wednesday (5/4).
KM Dolphin Boat Captain M. Amin was happy with many people who wanted to go to the Thousand Islands. From the first day of the Eid holiday until today, he admitted that he had transported hundreds of tourists.
His ship departs from the Muara Angke Pier at 8 AM every day and take about two hours to travel to the islands.
For one go, the ship could carry 150-200 passengers, where the ticket price sold for Rp 60,000 per passenger to Pari Island.
"Thank God, many passengers travel to the islands in this year's Eid. Generally, people travel to Pari, Harapan, Tidung, and Pramuka i
slands," he mentioned.According to him, his ship could only operate for one round trip a day.
"It is full of passengers from the first to the third day of Eid. I earn quite a lot," he said with a smile.
