South Jakarta Mayor Launches Jakarta Hajatan at Ragunan Agro Educational Tourism

Enlivening Jakarta's 495th Anniversary, South Jakarta Government Mayor Munjirin launched a series of Jakarta Hajatan events which is centered at the Ragunan Agro Educational Tourism on Tuesday (5/24).

Ragunan Agro Educational Tourism is located behind RSUD Pasar Minggu with an area of 2.2 hectares used as a location for education related to urban farming, animal husbandry, and fish farming.

"In the Ragunan Agro Educational Tourism area, we cultivate plants, animals, and fish," he conveyed.

He planned to develop the area into a tourist destination that allows visitors to plant, cook, and consume agricultural, livestock, and fishery products harvested at the Ragunan Agro Educational Tourism.

"We also provide a place to cook. You can cook either vegetables, animals, or fish that you harvest yourself. So, people who want to test their partners whether they can cook or not, we invite you to the Ragunan Agro Educational Tourism," he expressed.

After Jakarta Governor launched Jakarta Hajatan on Bidadari Island, Thousand Islands, Munjirin and his subordinates toured the Ragunan Agro Educational Tourism.

On that occasion, his party caught catfish and tilapia, harvested vegetables, and saw chickens, goats, and cows raised in the area.
