Monorail Project, Ahok Asks for Input from the Attorney General

The city administration is asking for consideration or input from the Attorney General regarding termination plan of the contract with PT Jakarta Monorail (JM) as an investor for monorail project in the capital. After consideration letter from Attorney General was received, the city administration would then send a contract termination letter with PT JM.

Jakarta Governor, Basuki 'Ahok' T Purnama disclosed his party does not want to be sued after the letter is issued. Therefore, the city administration is still waiting for a reply letter from the Attorney General to send a letter to PT JM.

"We will reply the letter soon. We'll ask for consideration from the Attorney General first," he disclosed, after he held a TPUT meeting at City Hall, Thursday (1/15).

He hopes with the Attorney General's letter, the letter made by city administration will be more clearly. "If the contract could be stopped, we will do it. So, all becomes clearer than a letter made by Mr. Fauzi Bowo," stressed Ahok.
