Jakarta residents are enthusiastic about the campaign for using public transportation entitled "The Future is Public Transport, Going with Jakarta", held by the Jakarta Provincial Government and C40 Cities, in HI Roundabout area, Sunday (12/4).

Our public transportation is no less competitive than foreign

Hundreds of residents enjoying Motor Vehicle Free Day (CFD) in the area seemed enthusiastic about participating in the education and games presented in this campaign, such as snakes and ladders games, speed wheels, and mystery boxes. They also took pictures at the booth provided and published them on social media, including the hashtag #MelajuBersamaJakarta.

As experienced by Sri Budiarti (44), a resident of Kemayoran, Central Jakarta. She expressed that the campaign was very positive because public transportation in Jakarta is now better and more connected.

"This is very good for teaching children that using public transportation is easy and cheap," she said.

The same statement also came from Meristiawati (50), a resident of Rawamangun, East Jakarta. From  She admitted that she just found out that using JakLingko, Transjakarta, MRT, and LRT transportation is enough with a maximum fare by Rp 10,000.

"I just found out that if you use Transjakarta and MRT, you only pay Rp 10,000, I will definitely try it," she admitted.

Then Fung Fedy (56), a resident of Cikini admitted that the modes of transportation in Jakarta now had many choices and were more comfortable.

"The development is very rapid. Our public transportation is no less competitive than foreign. I appreciate the Jakarta administration for advancing its city. As a user of public transportation, I'm very proud, moreover, the service is amiable," he closed.
