Separately, Manager of Communications Law and Administration Section for PT PLN (Persero) Jakarta Raya and Tangerang, Koesdiyanto disclosed that such outage is done with consideration of the safety of residents.
"In overall, as many as 381 substations are still turned off. We remain do this, even though a substation has not inundated but its inundation is still significant," he expressed.

"Thus far, about 8,000 electrical connections in residential have not been functioned. Besides the inspection results, residents can also ask the PLN to return it. Nevertheless, there must be inspection first whether it is safe or not," said Koesdiyanto."
