New Channel Construction on Tidung Island Completed

Seribu Islands SDA Sub-agency Head, Hendri stated that the channel was built to follow up on the residents' proposal as the neighborhood often gets flooded when it rains.
"We made a channel using a 10-inch-diameter PVC pipe and also made a drainage control box with instant concrete," he expressed, Wednesday (2/22).
Jatinegara SDA Builds Channel in Cipinang Indah RayaHe explained the channel as long as 12 meters with 50 centimeters deep was carried out by ten workers.
"It was carried out on February 20, 2023, and was completed already yesterday. Today, it's just tidying up and painting the drainage control box," he explained.
By doing so, the residential could be free of flooding when it rained. Residents were urged to always maintain the cleanliness of the channel.
