Here are East Jakarta's Steps to Anticipate Long Dry Season

The East Jakarta administration claims to have implemented several anticipatory steps to face the current long dry season.

This is the result of a study by IPB experts

East Jakarta Mayor, Muhammad Anwar said several steps to anticipate drought that had been taken included building 4,000 infiltration wells in several areas, especially in locations prone to lack of clean water.

"This is the result of a study by IPB experts. Parhaps, it can also be a means of saving clean water during the dry season," he said, after he planted trees in the yard of the Ciracas Urban Village office, Tuesday (9/26).

His party also coordinated with PDAM Jaya for the availability of clean water in the long drought.

However, until now, his party has yet to receive any reports from the public complaining about drought and difficulties in getting clean water.

"I haven't heard residents ask for help with clean water. Usually, Ciracas is dry but the fact is not," he asserted

Hopefully, this condition could continue until the rainy season arrives
