PRJ will Be Held in Senayan

Due to unruly street vendor at the Jakarta Fair (PRJ) event last year, Jakarta City Government won't hold the event in Monas area and will move it to Senayan, Central Jakarta.

Moreover, Jakarta Vice Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidayat admitted, his side has approved not to hold the PRJ event at Monas because the event could damage the garden there.

Events at Monas will Be LimitedDjarot continued, differ from the last year that financed by Jakarta Industry and Energy Department, the PRJ event will be independently held by the private sector. It means the event will not burden the city budget.
"We will give more attention to event which held by department because the privates will not use City Budget. Why did they (private) can be like that? And how they could allocate 400 more of small and medium ministry without using the budget?" he asked.
PRJ 2015 Project Manager, Indra Maulana uttered, the PRJ will be held in Senayan and still free for Jakarta citizens. The event that is intended to enliven the 488 years of Jakarta Anniversary will provide 466 free stand for Small and Medium Enterprises (UKM).
"The event will be held in a week, starts on May 30th to June 5th. Furthermore, as many as 50 artist and culture stage will also be provided at the event.
