New Year's Eve 2024, LRT Extends its Operating Hours to 2 AM

To welcome New Year's Eve celebrations, PT Light Rain Transit (LRT) is about to extend its operating hours from 5.30 AM to 2 AM with 10-minute headway from Sunday (12/31) to Monday (1/1).

Residents can use LRT services for cards or electronic money applications with a minimum balance by Rp 8,500

PT LRT Jakarta Corporate Secretary Division Head, Sheila Indira Maharshi said the public transportation LRT was ready to serve residents who would enjoy New Year's Eve in Jakarta.

"Residents can use LRT services for cards or electronic money applications with a minimum balance by Rp 8,500," she expressed, Sunday (12/31).

For each trip, one train set could accommodate around 750 passengers. "So, do not worry about using it," she concluded.

Her party also held various interesting activities at some station points. Among them were distributing cotton candy to passengers who started their trip at Velodrome Station and Boulevard Utara Station.

Its distribution was presented as a sweet Christmas and New Year message to passengers who loyally use the LRT.

Passenger trips would be even more enjoyable with the presence of the Pantomime Show on Train which provides a unique, entertaining experience, and leaves an unforgettable impression.

"This offering is our effort to provide the best service for all passengers of public transportation that is safe, comfortable, and friendly for all groups," she stated.
