The Seribu Islands Tourism and Creative Economy Sub-agency (Parekraf) has noted that as many as 404,845 have visited tourist sites in Seribu Islands during 2023. The number has increased compared to 2022.

Promotional Attractions and Creative Economy Section Head, Ahmad Farihin said that in 2022, the number of tourists who came reached 316,740, consisting of 309,432 domestic and 7,308 foreign tourists. In 2023, there were 388,962 domestic tourists and 15,883 foreign tourists.
"Cumulatively, tourist visits to Seribu Islands rose by 127.81 percent compared to 2022," he expressed, Saturday (1/6).

According to him, tourists to the Seribu Islands come through four entrances, namely Muara Angke, Ancol Marina, Tanjung Pasir, and Cituis piers. They visited various destinations, ranging from resident islands, resorts, nature reserves, and other tourist islands.
"Resident Island is still a favorite location for tourists, as evidenced by the number of visits in 2023 of 375,998 people. Meanwhile, the number of visits to Resort Island is only 21,051 people," he explained.
With the increasing number of tourist visits every year and the projection of Jakarta becoming a global city, his party would continue to expand promotions via social media through destination introduction programs for the community, especially in the influencers fields, tourism industry, and tourism students.
"Hopefully, in 2024, there will be even more tourist visits. We'll never get bored of continuing to promote this promotion. This is because, with the increase in tourists, the creative economy of the Seribu Islands will also increase," he stated.
