Jakarta Governor, Basuki Tjahaja 'Ahok' Purnama held impromptu visit (blusukan) to Tanah Abang area, Central Jakarta. The area that usually looks chaotic by the existence of street vendors, public transportation, and motorcycle taxi station suddenly become well-organized.

If you see any people who throw the trash recklessly, please reprimand them, if they mad, let them know that you are instructed by Jakarta Governor

Basuki accompanied by Central Jakarta Mayor, Mangara Pardede, PD Pasar Jaya Director, Djangga Lubis and Head of Provincial Working Units (SKPD) started the blusukan from Tanah Abang Station and down the road toward Block G of Tanah Abang Market.

Dozens of Transportation Department (Dishubtrans) and Satpol PP officers were also prepared alongside the road. After the Governor arrived at the station, he had observed the ticket counter and had discussion with PT KAI officers.

The plan, Jakarta Provincial Government will build bridge from Block G Market toward station entrance. Furthermore, he also held conversation with some workers during his walk.

"You had received your salary sir?" Basuki asked to a janitor, Wednesday (4/15).

"I received it already sir," the janitors answered him.

"Do you have this card (e-money card)?" asked Basuki again.

"Yes, sir," he told.

Basuki also encouraged the janitor to keep his spirit in the work and also reprimand the citizens who throw the trash recklessly.

"Please keep your spirit to work here sir. If you see any people who throw the trash recklessly, please reprimand them, if they mad, let them know that you are instructed by Jakarta Governor," he told.
