Deby Maharani Happy to Get Free Nutritious Food

A 1st grade student at SDN Susukan 08 Pagi, Deby Maharani, expressed her happiness at being able to enjoy nutritious food for free.

Very happy. So tasty and free

With great appetite, the seven-year-old looked ravenously eating a dish of white rice, chicken opor, spinach and fried tofu with a slice of watermelon for dessert.

"Very happy. So tasty and free," she expressed while chewing food in her tiny mouth, Monday (1/6).

Even, s he deliberately did not have breakfast before going to school. "So I can eat a lot," she stated.

The similar statement also came from a third grade student, Heru (10) at the same school.

"I will just have breakfast at school from tomorrow onwards," he stressed.

State Secretary Deputy Minister, Juri Ardiantoro revealed that the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) program launched by President Prabowo Subianto for students, pregnant women, and underprivileged children was starting to be implemented simultaneously throughout Indonesia.

"This is in line with the healthy school program and was enthusiastically welcomed by students," he said.
