Traffic Accident, A School Bus Driver Investigated

A school bus B 7105 TPA and its driver were secured by the South Jakarta Metro Resort Police Traffic Unit secured after getting involved in an accident with a Jupiter motorcycle B 6946 TPP on intersection of Jalan Raya Iskandarsyah with Jalan Melawai Raya, Kebayoran Baru. 

The incident occurred in the morning about 4.45 AM

" The incident occurred in the morning about 4.45 AM. The school bus driver, Acep Mandudu (42), got involved in accident with a motorcyclist named Lucky (24) on Iskandarsyah Intersection from Melawai towards PTIK ," said Chief of South Jakarta Metro Resort Police Traffic Unit, Ipda Bakti Butar Butar, Friday (8/7). 

According to Butar Butar, before accident, the bus was from Melawai towards PTIK. Suddenly, a motorcycle passed and then the crash happened. "The motorcycle was nudged on the driver's door side and fell. He got only light injured, but to ensure it, he needs to be checked in Central Pertamina Hospital," he told.

Meanwhile, Acep Mandudu claimed the incident occurred because of the motorcyclist's fault. The bus's windscreen was broken due to the accident. "The windscreen was broken after being hit by the motorcyclist who wanted to get in PTIK way," he expressed. 

The man who was driving the school bus route Pondok Labu-Block M claimed that he just wanted to go to Melawai. Suddenly the motorcyclist overtook from right. "He fell then rushed to hospital. I don't want to talk about it anymore," he said while waiting for further investigating in South Jakarta Resort Police Headquarter.
