Djarot Asked Perhumas to Promote Jakarta

Jakarta Vice Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidayat instructed members of Public Relations Association (Perhumas) can promote Jakarta and Indonesia properly in implementation of the 2016 Asean Economic Community (MEA).

According to Djarot, Perhumas role are very vital in promoting Indonesia, especially Jakarta to foreign countries. This is because, he continued, in the era of globalization, information packaging excellence is a requisite in promoting the products.

"MEA is getting closer. The public relations needed to convey, sell our excellence to countries in Asean," he disclosed, during a dinner on the grace of the Perhumas, at City Hall, Wednesday (11/18) night.

Facing MEA, Infrastructures Development Intensified

Furthermore, the development of the era of digitalization encourages more communication leads to the virtual world. Hence, the city administration is now developing a service-oriented application and absorbing information from people, which is namely Smart City and Qlue.

"Indonesia is a user or a consumer, thus we can be colonized because of being a market. So I hope Perhumas could contribute positively to convey and form a good opinion about us," he hoped.
