August, Kalianyar Row Village Realized

In the upcoming August, the West Jakarta Housing and Government Buildings Sub-Department is going to build the row village for houses in three RTs of Kalianyar Urban Village, Tambora, West Jakarta. Its owner already also agreed where its construction funds will be conducted in three stages. 

Chief of RW 05 Kalianyar Urban Village, Jayata explained that his side has received 30 row village proposals from locals. And urban village and consultant sides of West Jakarta Housing and Government Buildings have surveyed citizens who join the program.

"Of the hundreds of citizens, 90 out of them have agreed. While the rest are refused through various considerations. As planned, the project will be realized in the upcoming August," he told, Monday (7/7).

According to Jayata, those 90 houses are located in 8 RTs comprising RT 02, 03, 04, 06, 07, 09, 10, and 11. "Later on, the row village project will be divided into 8 RTs, we hope locals have agreed to Jakarta Provincial Government's provision about payment mechanism," he exclaimed.

He furthered payment mechanism is similar to last year, which was paid three times incrementally. "Eventually, we will summon citizens to receive guidance and advice. Afterwards, they can apply and be accepted to immediately open an DKI Bank account," he explained.

Head of West Jakarta Housing and Government Buildings Sub-Department, Rohman Lizard mentions such program got a positive response from citizens where it was previously not responded. But after they saw the result, they then flocked to register.

He furthered, it is a government effort to introduce healthier occupancy to the public and want to transform the image of Jakarta into a neat and orderly city.
