Meanwhile, Head of Jakarta Education Department, Lasro
Marbun added that 2013 curriculum for schools in Jakarta cannot necessarily be
abolished. This is because, there have been some schools implementing the
curriculum.
"In Jakarta, as many as 2,058 elementary schools have
applied the 2013 curriculum," he explained.
He assessed, those schools also remain apply the 2006
curriculum that was revised. "The 2006 curriculum is also applied, but it
was already revised, evaluated, and upgraded into 2013 curriculum," he
stressed.
Earlier, the government stopped the 2013 curriculum 2013.
Its policy applied for new schools to implement it over one semester. As for
schools that have applied it over three semesters can still continue.
