Officials could make everyone successful. It's called social justice. By becoming a leader, I want to realize it
On that occasion, Ahok tells the ups and downs during his
lead Jakarta. Various questions posed by the students answered one by one by
the former regent of East Belitung.
Such questions are about Ahok's leadership style, principles
to create the New Jakarta and terror experience from some parties who oppose
him as Jakarta Governor.
"I have an ancient proverb from China, poor people
can't challenge the rich but the rich can't go challenge officials. Officials
could make everyone successful. It's called social justice. By becoming a
leader, I want to realize it," he stated, Thursday (12/18).
He furthered to lead Jakarta, besides cleverness, courage is
essential and needed by a leader to lead Jakarta. Additionally, it also aims to
execute each policy in order to create the New Jakarta.
He acknowledged that he was ready to die for the sake of
duty to develop the capital. This is because, it is better to die while
performing the task than the backward and remembered as a leader who failed and
cowardly.
Although leading Jakarta is risky, he did not feel burdened.
Even, he has one aim, that is to serve, instead of getting power or position.
"The family must accept this risk. The important thing
is I have insurance thus if I die, the insurance can bear children until they
graduate college education," he stressed.
