This Year, Seven City Parks in South Jakarta Built

The park construction has entered the document preparation stage

Around seven city parks are planned to be built in seven different locations spread across South Jakarta shortly.

South Jakarta Parks and City Forest Sub-agency Head, Elly Sugstianingsih expressed the seven parks that will be built are planned to have a width of between 2,000 to 3,000 square meters.

"The park construction has entered the document preparation stage. It will be continued with the auction stage in the forthcoming April 2023," she expressed, Monday (3/27).

Those parts would be built at Jalan Bangka 7, Mampang Parapatan, in Taman Bona Indah Cilandak Housing Complex, Jalan Bona Permai, at NIS green open space (RTH) on Jalan NIS Pasar Minggu, Bangau RTH on Jalan Bangau, Cilandak, Poncol RTH on Jalan Poncol Pusdiklat PLN Pasar Minggu.

"Then is in Jagakarsa Sub-district but it is still tentative. However, the exact location is unknown, as it is close to the Ciliwung Riverbank," she added.

Parks and City Forest Division Head, Siti Nur Ery added that his party had conducted a focus group discussion (FGD) with residents around the location of the park, to determine the model of the park to be built.

"We want them to provide input and suggestions for park design," he stated.

In 2022, her division built a park and called Yudistira Park on Jalan Rajai Pesanggrahan, M. Saidi Park on Jalan Saidi, Pesanggrahan, Bulus Bali Park on Jalan Lebak Bulus 3, Cilandak, and Pasar Minggu Indah Park on Jalan Tanjung Barat.
