38,000 Visitors Enjoy Holidays in Ancol

Ancol area is still a favorite tourist destination for residents during long weekend holidays.

It continues to be busy with tourist visits after Idul Fitri

On Sunday (4/30), Ancol visitors reached 38,000 people, bringing 4,000 two-wheeled vehicles and 6,000 four-wheeled vehicles.

PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol Tbk Corporate Communication, Ariyadi Eko Nugroho said visitors were still dominated by families who brought their children to enjoy several tourist spots in Ancol.

"It continues to be busy with tourist visits after Idul Fitri. This is because school children will only enter the day after tomorrow," he expressed, Monday (5/1).

He explained that sand play spots in the Ancol coastal area are still the main destination for tourists. Even, culinary spots are also still crowded with tourists.

The peak of tourist visits is predicted to occur on Monday (5/1) which is designated as a national holiday.

"We also urge tourists to maintain cleanliness and be careful when playing," he stated.
