"Usually, children use aluminum and adults use stainless steel. Prices range from Rp 850 thousand to Rp 2.5 million. Here we also accept shoe repair services if there is damage," she explained.
One of the residents with special needs, Tatang, admitted that he was greatly helped by the shoes for disabled people produced by Jakarta YPAC.
"I've been a regular customer here for almost 12 years, both for the manufacture and maintenance of the supportive shoes I use," she added.
South Jakarta Social Agency Head, Bernard Tambunan appreciated all parties who played a role in providing solutions for disabled people so they could live normal daily lives like other ordinary people.
YAPC's production of shoes for people with disabilities could also help the government overcome unemployment.
"By making these shoes, it is clear evidence of all parties' attention to people with disabilities. So, in the future, they can actively participate in helping and supporting government programs according to their talents and abilities," he explained.
As for the information, the Jakarta Provincial Government has allocated three buses for disabled people who are members of YPAC Jakarta.
Then, one bus each for disabled people at SLBN 8 Rorotan and SLBN 9 Sunter, North Jakarta.
