500 Students in Jakarta Receive Compensation from S. Jakarta PMI

South Jakarta Deputy Mayor, Edi Sumantri expressed his appreciation for the South Jakarta PMI Peduli Yatim (for orphans) program.
According to him, it was not only emphasized South Jakarta PMI's duties in providing social and humanitarian assistance to the community, but also build Islamic brotherhood among social and humanitarian people.

He hoped that students who receive compensation could continue to be enthusiastic in carrying out worship and gaining knowledge.
"May all be given blessings. Don't look at this donation for its value, but examine the meaning of this gift and make the best use of it," he uttered.
South Jakarta PMI Chairman, Abdul Haris explained as many as 500 staple food packages were provided today to help orphans from state and private schools.
"We also provide compensation simultaneously in 10 elementary schools from 10 sub-districts throughout South Jakarta," he explained.
He added the program has its own meaning as an effort to build ties of friendship and kinship, as well as caring for others.
"This aims to strengthen capacity and instill a sense of loyalty to the South Jakarta PMI extended family. So, human resources at South Jakarta PMI will always be solid in carrying out humanitarian duties," he said.
