Acting Jakarta Governor, Teguh Setyabudi, officially opened the 2024 Acting Governor's Cup Tennis Tournament at Borobudur Hotel tennis court, Gambir, Central Jakarta, Saturday (12/14).

This opening was also attended by Indonesian Lawn Tennis Association's Central Management (PP Pelti) 2024-2028 Chairman, Nurdin Halid and his staff. Tournament itself has been held since December 9 and will end on December 15, 2024.

He explained the Governor's Cup Tennis Tournament was being sought to be included in the calendar of events for the period 2025 to 2027.

Pelti Jakarta's Provincial Government (Pengprov) Chairman, Hari Nugroho uttered there would be around 25 athletes in the event. 107 of them would compete in the National Pelti Tournament category and 108 in the group or community team category.
"This tournament is an annual event of Pelti Jakarta and is being held for the second time," he closed.
