Transportation Dept: You would Be Better Fix the Bus Than Demo

Jakarta Transportation Department asserted will not give tolerance to unfeasible metromini, eventhough the drivers plan to hold a massive demonstration.

Head of Jakarta Transportation Department, Andri Yansyah stated that will still impound dilapidated metromini for the sake of passengers convenience and safety.

"Which more important? We tolerate your living or people's life. People's life cannot be tolerated anymore," said Andri.

Joining Transjakarta, Metromini Drivers Would Be Prosperous

He told that all this time his side has been trying to mediate the two managements of PT Metromini, Nofriadi and RH Panjaitan who are in conflict. But the effort has not come to fruition until this time since the both sides still persist.

"I told them why they keep being hostile just because of metromini ownership while the buses become unmaintained," he expressed.

According to him, instead of demonstration, the drivers or the bus management are more suggested to fix the unfeasible buses.

"You would be better fix the bus than demo," he exclaimed.

He added, by putting the bus into machine shop, at least they strike with a good purpose. Because, if they strike to operate as the unfeasible condition of the bus, his side will still take action.

"If the metromini is brought to demonstrate at City Hall, it's useless. We'll tow them instead," he closed.
